The inspiration to start my own blog came today. I belong to a few forums and I participate in a few blogs, but I wanted a space on the Internet where I can say what I want. As I am new to this 'freedom of speech', I will start off by quoting a little from the books that I've read, articles that I've scrutinised on the Web and I will provide links to information that I find useful. This Internet or World Wide Web is significant in that it is a true mimic of the Divine Matrix or energy field around us that connects all. By starting this blog, I will not only allow the energy to connect me to others who feel and think the same way I do, but I will finally have an alternative ear to listen to my rantings about the spiritual path that I find myself on. Up to now, my poor brother's ear was all that I had to absorb my monologues.

So... to start with...

A poem written by a 19th century poet in India. I find it very appropriate to our current times:

Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high;
Where knowledge is free;
Where the world has not been broken up into fragments by narrow domestic walls;
Where words come out from the depth of truth;
